Well..are you? That probably depends on your definition of a successful musician. If you consider yourself successful, you probably wouldn’t be reading this.
Or maybe you just want more success. Either way, the first thing you need to do is decide what your definition of success is and if you meet your definition.
Answer these questions to get your definition of success:
How much money does a successful musician make? Where do they make their money from? Shows? Merch? Music sells?
Do they have their own website? Blog?
Is their music on TV? Movies? Video games?
Are they selling out shows? Are they on tour?
Keep brainstorming and write out everything you consider to be a successful musician.
If you meet your definition, then congrats! You don’t need to move on.
If you don’t meet it, then continue reading.
Now that you know what you want to accomplish, you need to figure out how to get there.
Look at each goal and research how to accomplish it. Use blogs, books, YouTube, and Google to find your answers.

Write out every step that it’s going to take to reach your goals.
Now that you have a lengthy list of things to do, break these tasks into 10-minute tasks.
Every day, look at your list and do at least three things. This will only take 30 minutes of your time, but you’ll be slowly getting closer to your definition of success.
